Teravalis Grand Opening Recap: Highlights & Key Moments

Teravalis Grand Opening Recap: A Celebration to Remember

Last week, we proudly celebrated a milestone years in the making: the official opening of Floreo, the first village in Teravalis. Over two exciting days, more than 2,000 visitors joined us to explore the beauty, innovation, and spirit of Arizona’s newest master planned community.

A moment of dedication

The celebration began on Friday, November 14, with a special dedication ceremony attended by community leaders and partners. Howard Hughes executives, Buckeye Mayor Eric Orsborn, and Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs joined us to officially mark the beginning of Teravalis—a community built to honor the desert and the people who call it home.

During the ceremony, dignitaries shared their excitement for the future of Buckeye and the Phoenix West Valley, highlighting how Teravalis represents thoughtful growth, sustainability, and connection to the surrounding landscape. Guests enjoyed a sneak preview of Floreo, touring model homes and seeing firsthand how innovation and natural beauty meet at the heart of our community.

A grand opening to remember

The next day, on Saturday, November 15, Teravalis opened its doors to the public for the Grand Opening featuring Floreo Fest. Visitors of all ages came out to experience something new and see what life at Teravalis is all about.

The first stop was at the Welcome Park where guests enjoyed fresh espresso drinks from Caffio Coffee Cart and mingled with the Teravalis team to learn more about the community.

Throughout the day, guests explored 20 beautifully crafted model homes from our seven award-winning homebuilders—Century Communities, Courtland Communities, DRB Homes, KB Home, Lennar, Meritage Homes, and New Home Co. Each showcased unique design styles and features that will help shape the character of Floreo.

The day was filled with family-friendly activities and local experiences across the community. Attendees visited Floreo Park to participate in educational exhibits and presentations from the Arizona Science CenterWhite Tank Mountain ConservancyV&P Nurseries, and Sun Tan Honey Farm where they learned about desert wildlife, sustainability, the science behind honey, and more.

At Windrose Park, live music from local artists Old Town Love and the Sugar Thieves, interactive art installations by the West Valley Arts Council, and culinary delights by Cloth + Flame made it a celebration to remember.

Thank you, Buckeye

The success of our Grand Opening weekend is thanks to our partners, future residents, visitors, and community leaders who helped make this moment possible. Together, we took the first step toward a thriving future for Teravalis.

If you missed this event, do not worry! You can now tour our latest home model homes daily. We would love to have you visit anytime.

Floreo is just the beginning. As we continue to grow, with new homes, parks, and the upcoming Echo Community Center, we look forward to hosting many more celebrations in the years ahead.
