Looking Back on 2025: A Landmark Year for Teravalis
2025 was a year of momentum for Teravalis.
Ideas became plans, plans became progress, and progress became a community coming to life. With new homes, parks, events, and gathering spaces opening throughout the year, Teravalis set a new standard for what a master planned community can be in the West Valley.
Here’s a look back at 2025’s top moments that moved Teravalis from vision to reality.
A New Digital Home for Teravalis
The year began with the launch of the new Teravalis.com, created to showcase the scale, vision, and energy of what was taking shape in Buckeye. The updated site made it easy for West Valley homebuyers, future residents, and neighbors to explore community plans, learn about homebuilders, and stay connected as Teravalis continued to grow.
It was an important early milestone that helped welcome the broader community into what was happening here.
Showing Up for the West Valley
Community connection has always been at the heart of Teravalis. Early in the year, we were proud to sponsor both the Buckeye Marathon and the Buckeye Air Fair—two beloved local events that bring together families, neighbors, and visitors from across the West Valley.
Being part of these local traditions was a meaningful way to celebrate active lifestyles, community pride, and the people who make Buckeye such a special place to call home. From runners and pilots to spectators and families, these events were a reminder that Teravalis is growing alongside a strong and vibrant community.
Welcoming Homebuilders to Teravalis
One of the most exciting moments of 2025 came in July, when Century Communities opened as the first homebuilder in Teravalis—officially marking the beginning of home sales and bringing the vision from plans on paper to real homes taking shape in the desert landscape.
Over the following months, momentum continued to build as Courtland Communities, DRB Homes, KB Home, Lennar, Meritage Homes, and Risewell Homes opened their model homes, offering a wide range of styles, floorplans, and price points for West Valley buyers. With all seven homebuilders now open, Teravalis has shifted into an active homebuying community.
Breaking Ground on the Echo Community Center
Construction officially began on the Echo Community Center, the future heart of Floreo. Designed as a central hub for residents and neighbors, Echo brings together fitness facilities, pools, sports courts, event spaces, and places to relax and connect.
Breaking ground marked an important milestone, laying the foundation for a landmark amenity that brings people together and reshapes how community spaces are experienced across the West Valley.
Welcoming the First Homeowners to Teravalis
One of the most meaningful moments of the year came with the purchase of the first home in Teravalis. This was more than a transaction. It marked the beginning of real stories, memories, and everyday life taking root in the community.
It was a powerful reminder of why Teravalis exists: to create a place shaped by the people who choose to live here.
Floreo and Windrose Parks Open
Floreo Park and Windrose Park debuted during the year, becoming the first parks available to residents and neighbors within Teravalis. These spaces offer room to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors.
As the year continued, three additional parks opened across the community, bringing the total to five parks welcoming visitors in 2025. Together, these openings provided an early look at the outdoor, connected lifestyle taking shape across Teravalis and marked meaningful progress toward the seven planned parks in this phase of Floreo.
Opening Teravalis to the Community
Toward the end of the year, the Welcome House officially opened, welcoming its first visitors and serving as a central place to learn more about Teravalis, its homebuilders, and the vision taking shape across the community.
Soon after, more than 2,000 neighbors, future residents, and West Valley families gathered for the Teravalis Grand Opening Celebration. The event marked a defining moment for the community, bringing people together to experience Teravalis firsthand and celebrate everything accomplished throughout the year.
What’s Next?
2025 was a year of firsts, foundations, and forward motion. As we step into the new year, we’re energized by what’s ahead—new places taking shape, new spaces coming to life, and new opportunities to connect in Buckeye and the greater West Valley.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far. We can’t wait to continue building what’s next, together.
