Taste of Teravalis Recap

The Taste of Teravalis concert series brings together live music, local food, and model home tours in one lively, community-focused experience.  

With events running from February to April, each month offered something new to explore. Here’s a look back at the first three events and what attendees have experienced so far. 

Live Music from Local Bands

The first of many Taste of Teravalis events brought local talent into the spotlight, turning evenings into a live music experience that reflects the energy of the West Valley.  

Events featured some of the area’s most recognizable bands, each bringing their own sound and energy to the night: 

• February – Soulitify: A Phoenix-based band known for high-energy, concert-style performances blending Latin, R&B, soul, classic rock, and Top 40 hits.

• March – Thaddeus Rose: A group of seasoned musicians delivering a polished, crowd-pleasing set filled with dance-rock favorites and iconic covers.

• April – BackDoor Funk: A staple of the Valley music scene, bringing classic funk, soul, and dance favorites that kept the crowd moving all night.

Teravalis is all about building community and celebrating the West Valley. Our concert series showcases the talent defining this region while giving everyone a reason to come together and celebrate the community taking shape. 

Highlighting Community Flavor

Nothing says community like sharing good food. We did, after all, call this event series “Taste of Teravalis” because visitors can get a taste of what’s in store for this unparalleled community while also noshing on some tasty, local fare. 

By partnering with West Valley food trucks, the series highlights small businesses while giving attendees something new to try each month. 

• Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ: Bringing crowd-favorite comfort food that kept guests coming back for more

• Lili’s Taco Truck: Serving up bold, delicious dishes that quickly became a favorite among attendees.

• American Top Dog: A crowd-pleasing option offering classic favorites with a creative twist.

• Frios Gourmet Pops: Offering a frozen dessert experience guests couldn’t get enough of.

Guests who toured homes from any of the seven homebuilders received a complimentary meal from the featured food truck, giving them another reason to explore while enjoying the event. 

Model Homes and Community Tours

Beyond the music and food, each Taste of Teravalis event offered a chance to experience the community firsthand. Visitors had the opportunity to step inside 21 different model homes from 7 homebuilders and see a range of floorplans, styles, and designs in person—something you don’t get from photos alone. 

Teravalis homebuilders include Century Communities, Courtland Communities, DRB Homes, KB Home, Lennar, Meritage Homes, and Risewell Homes. 

Walking through the homes gave guests a better sense of how different layouts feel, while also showing how each builder approaches space and design. It turned the event into more than just a night out, allowing attendees to picture what living in Teravalis could look like.
